Music Video Fashion: Mr. Eazi's Zara Looks in "Comfort" Music Video

· By Fashion Tigress Team

One of the trending songs right now is Mr. Eazi's latest single, "Comfort." It features Ghanaian songstress MOLLY.

It is a catchy tune, quite infectious, with a 90s/Y2K vibe to it.

However, FT observed that the musician, Mr. Eazi, wore creations from fast-fashion brand Zara. Let's break down every look and reveal what worked.

Zara Mixed Print Oversized Shirt

He wore this dual-patterned shirt, and it is Zara's Mixed Print Oversized Shirt. The shirt, which is a limited-edition piece, currently retails for $119, which, when converted, is approximately ₦159,805.

This particular shirt is interesting. They used the fashion concept called Print Clashing or Print Mixing.
While Print Clashing is an interesting concept, I can move from a perfect 10 to obnoxious real quick if it isn't done properly.

Here are 3 quick rules to follow to avoid this...

1) Always find a common colour between the contrasting prints. In Mr. Eazi's shirt, the common colour is red.

2) Always pair a bold pattern with a subtle one. This creates visual balance. As you can see, the rose pattern is the dominant one in Mr. Eazi's shirt.
3) Keep jewellery understated, or you risk looking like a clown.

Zara Striped Jacquard Shirt

The second shirt is this striped creation, also by Zara. It is the "Relaxed Fit Striped Jacquard Shirt," and it retails for $79.90, which is approximately ₦107,298. He wore the shirt over tan-coloured trousers.

The shirt, which is made from cotton-blend fabric, features a regular collar and gradient blue striped vertical lines, with jacquard embroidery woven in them. The shirt has a relaxed silhouette.

Zara Cotton Sweater

As for his 3rd look, Mr. Eazi wore this purple-coloured jumper, aka sweater.

I saw something similar at Zara, and it is their cotton regular-fit sweater in purple. The sweater, which has a round neck,  is made from 100% cotton.

Presently, it retails for $79.90, which, when converted, is approximately ₦107,298.

All the shirts are lovely, but my favourite is the contrasting, double-patterned shirt. I love how the fashion concept of Print Clashing was done beautifully. What elevates this shirt even further is its gender-fluid appeal—I can picture a stylish woman pulling this off just as seamlessly.

Which is your favourite?
